Lettersay Gizlilik Politikası.

This policy explains which data the Lettersay iOS and Android app ("the app") processes.

• No accounts: The app does not ask for your name, email address or any other identifying information.
• Microphone and speech recognition: The microphone is only on while you say your answer. The word you say is converted to text by Apple's speech recognition service on iOS, and your answer is checked. The app does not keep voice recordings and does not send your voice or the text to us or to our advertising partners. How Apple processes this service is subject to Apple's privacy policy.
• Camera mode and round video: If you turn on camera mode, the front camera image is only shown on screen during the game. The round video is created only on your phone; it is never sent anywhere unless you save or share it, and it is deleted when you leave the results screen. To save the video to Photos, the app only asks for permission to add photos and cannot see your existing photos. No face recognition or face tracking is used. Camera mode is optional.
• Data that stays on your phone: Your chosen language, settings, scores, coins and purchase status are stored only on your own phone. They are deleted when you delete the app. One exception: which language you play in the free version, and whether you used the app before version 1.2, are kept in your phone's iOS Keychain; these two facts stay on your phone even if you delete the app, and are never sent anywhere.
• Ads (Google AdMob): The free version of the app shows an ad at the end of rounds; you can also choose to watch optional rewarded ads. Ads are served by Google AdMob and its mediation partners Unity Ads and Liftoff (Vungle); these partners may also process the kinds of data below under their own privacy policies. On iOS ads are personalized only if you allow tracking in the iOS prompt; if you don't, ad partners do not get your advertising identifier (IDFA). You can change your choice on your iPhone in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. On Android ads may be personalized using the Android advertising ID; in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland only if you give consent in Google's consent form (you can change your choice later with the app's "Gizlilik seçenekleri" (Privacy options)). You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings > Privacy > Ads. To show and measure ads and to prevent abuse, Google may collect the following from your device: IP address (for approximate location), app-specific device identifiers, ad interactions (which ad was shown, whether it was tapped) and technical diagnostics (crash and performance data). • European Economic Area, UK and Switzerland: If you are in these regions, we ask for your consent through Google's consent form before showing ads; it applies to Google and to the ad partners. You can change your choice later with "Gizlilik seçenekleri" (Privacy options) at the bottom of the "Reklamsız" (ad-free) screen.
• US states: In some US states you can opt out of the sale or sharing of your data in Google's message; this choice is passed on to the ad partners too.
• Purchases: The "Reklamları Kaldır" (Remove Ads) purchase is handled by Apple. Your payment details never reach us; the app only learns from Apple whether the purchase was made.
• Subscription (Lettersay Pro): Payment, renewal and cancellation of the Pro subscription are handled entirely by Apple. On your phone, the app only asks Apple whether a Pro subscription is currently active. Your payment details never reach us and no new data is collected for the subscription. You can manage or cancel it on your iPhone in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions.
• Leaderboards (Apple Game Center): If you are signed in to Game Center, your total points and this week's points are sent to Apple's Game Center service and shown to other players on the leaderboard with your Game Center nickname. This data is processed by Apple and is subject to Apple's privacy policy. You can play the whole game without signing in to Game Center.
• Ratings: The app may occasionally open Apple's own rating window. Your rating and review go directly to Apple; the app does not see them.
• Analytics (Google Firebase Analytics): To improve the app we measure which screens and features are used, for example the chosen language pair, rounds played and their results, use of hints or camera mode, views of the purchase screen, and language pairs requested with "Notify me". For this, Google Firebase processes a random app-specific identifier, approximate location (from the IP address, at country level), device model, operating system and app version. We do not collect your name, email, voice, the words you say or type, your camera image or your video. Analytics data is not used for ad personalization or to track you across other apps or websites. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, analytics is only turned on if you allow it in Google's consent form. How Google processes this data: firebase.google.com/support/privacy
• Android version: On Android, the word you say is converted to text by your phone's speech recognition service (usually Google's); the app does not keep the audio and does not send it anywhere itself, and how that service processes audio is subject to Google's privacy policy. Purchases and the Lettersay Pro subscription are handled by Google Play; your payment details never reach us, and on your phone the app only asks Google Play whether the subscription is active. If Android backup is on, the app's settings (chosen language, scores, coins, the language you play in the free version) are included in your Google account backup and come back when you reinstall the app. Camera mode and the Game Center leaderboard are not available on Android.
• Children: The app does not knowingly collect personal data from children. Ads are limited to content suitable for a general audience.
• Changes: If this policy changes, this page will be updated and the date will change.
